Here are one of each. Sorry about the quality, but 72 res. doesn't give a lot of working room. If you still have access to the original, you might try using a good scanner (minimum 300 res.) That will give a much better base, and also eliminate the skew in the output. I had to do a little vertical correction.

Ohhh, no, you can't leave this photo the way you have. Take a look at the left-hand side of the image see all that repetitiveness in the roof and the lower section of the foliage? That all needs to be corrected if you wish this to be a finished image.

This is a scanned image of me late grandmother and grandfather who died just before I was born. I want to print his for my son and grandson but no matter I in Lightroom anything. The saved image cuts off the top of their heads.
I have cropped as much as I can but nothing works.
I am begging the brain trusts here who have always been there for people like me, to help me fix this image so I can print it as seen with their full heads.
Thank you for any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
Bruce.

You are forgetting a very simple, yet important thing to add to any oddly sized image you may be trying to put into a frame that does not fit your image size, simply add a matboard and put your photo into the custom cut size for the image, yet having the outside dimensions that will fit a frame.

That way you can fit any size image, into a standard size frame. Just have the Matboard cut to fit the image, the Matboards always come with an outside dimension that will fit a ready made frame. Doing this means that you don't have to worry about altering the size of an image.

Oooppps, you forgot to fix the top right of the image you straightened. It's an easy fix though, to add the missing bits in that white sliver you created. You probably overlooked that.

This is by no means a perfect restoration/colorization job. In fact, it is an AI-driven quick and dirty app. I kinda of have fun with it because it is reminiscent of the tinted or colored transparent oils options that photofinishers offered in the era of the image.

Others have posted superior renditions. Further proof that AI will never beat out real craftsmanship!
