This is a scanned image of me late grandmother and grandfather who died just before I was born. I want to print his for my son and grandson but no matter I in Lightroom anything. The saved image cuts off the top of their heads.
I have cropped as much as I can but nothing works.
I am begging the brain trusts here who have always been there for people like me, to help me fix this image so I can print it as seen with their full heads.
Thank you for any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
Bruce.
For some reason I cannot add a notation to these pictures.
The first one is after I had tried everything in Lightroom and pictures but now good.
The second is the original with the stuff I cropped out.
I am at a loss.
Can anyone throw me a bone on this please.
Bruce.
How's this? It's scaled to print at 4 X 6. I use Affinity Photo, and have no clue how to do it in Lightroom or Photoshop. I also took the liberty of converting it to black and white to get rid of the "unusual color".

Edited to add: You're a Bruce too? That's MY middle name!
Hope you don't mind my butting in, since you asked for assistance. Here is a colorizer version. BTW, a great looking 1940s couple. Also a 4x6 format.
I hope I understood your question. Here's my try at a fix for 4x6. I used used Lightroom to fix the perspective, and then the AI in Photoshop to add a bit to the photo at the top and on both sides. This might bother some people, because those parts of the photo are now faked. Seeing as the added parts aren't vital to the meaning of the photo, this doesn't bother me, but it might bother some.
See the second photo for a way to format for 4x6 by simply adding white space as needed. (It still needs something done to the lower right hand corner.)

Grumps, Dunedin Fla, how cool. I was there maybe 4 years ago. I loved it. I think I should go back again.
WOW what ever you did worked out great. It printed off perfectly. Thank you so much.
I have never had this issue before. I think I scanned it from an old picture my mother found.

Oh I love it in color. I do not know what you did but it printed out perfectly. I like the color effect. Yes, this is my grandmother and my grandfather who died just before I was born in 1951.
THIS MEANS SO VERY MUCH TO ME.
I really appreciate you guy for pitching in, I tried and tried but could not get anything to work. The tops of their heads were just cut off. I was lost.
Thank you again, both of you.
Gods blessings to you.
Bruce.
Nice image. It's one year older than me!
I worked on a copy in Photoshop. You might like this one.
I highly recommend Qimage for printing pictures. Check it out.

ALL OF YOU GUYS A HUGE WARM HEARTEN THANK YOU, this means so much to me. These all are more than I could have even expected or even done myself which makes me realize I have A LOT to learn.
I am taking notes on the software mentioned as I need to look into these.
I rarely need help or have to fix something but my mother, who is about 93, if coming up with all this old family history and my oldest son is wanting as much as he can get to pass onto his son to keep the family history.
Being in UHH is such a blessing to have so many skilled and knowledgeable willing to help us.
Thank you again and I do not want to sound so slobberish, but I am very grateful to guys.
Now, a cold beer for each of you.
Most sincerely;
Bruce.
