First time entering a contest. Opinions valued.

I have never entered my photos in any contests, but last year I saw a lot of pictures that were "ok, but not great" entered in the State Fair photography contest. So, I have decided, just for grins, to enter some photos in the upcoming State Fair photography exhibition in September. I can only enter a total of 4 pictures max.
I'd appreciate it if you guys could take a look at the following images and tell me, if you had to pick 4 to enter, which would they be? Note that I have named the Pictures L1, L2...etc., for "Landscapes", P1, P2...etc., for "people related," B1, B2...etc., for "Birds" and M1, M2, M3...etc., for "Misc"
Pick any four, regardless of which category. You can pick all from the same category or different categories - just which four you think I should submit. Not looking for critiques of images at this time, just which you might enter from this batch, if you had to pick four.

The last one seems like a good candidate.
The rest are a toss up except for the 2 foggy scenes, L4 and L5, leave out.

So far I would choose L1, L5, L10 and L12. But that will probably change after I see the other photos. They all are really good photos and it is hard to pick just four. I’m betting that you will win with one of of your photos. Good luck.
As for the birds I definitely like B4 all though I think it would look better by cropping the tree limbs on the left. That way the bird would have more empty space in the direction he is looking.

I think it’s not appropriate to ask us which you should enter. Look at them and pick the ones you like!

best advice is to check with the rules for post processing for the fair. I have a hard time here entering because of the restrictions that the fair committee places on the post processing. After you are good with any restrictions then I would just take the 4 that I am most proud of put them out there and see how they do

There are not any documented restrictions on processing, only that the images have to be taken by myself and processed by myself. I know that I can pick the four that I like, but I thought it would be fun to hear others opinions, which may or may not affect which four I end up submitting. This is meant to be a fun exercise for anyone who want to play.
