Really well done composite. Wish I had those skills

Thank you very much. Composites are always a work in progress which will NEVER be perfect.

Good to see you posting here Dave.
It works well I think - although I’ve no idea who BB is. I do know Popeye though!!
You may remember I too only use my own images - exceptions have been extremely rare and certainly not recent but I’ve recently been asked on several occasions to use other folks shots. Pleased to say I’m holding out so far! That said, I can see why it was necessary in this instance. There’s always going to be something you can’t photograph yourself.

Thanks Dave, much appreciated. Here's a link to help you with Benjamin Button.

Popeye grown old... we see the effects of years of tobacco smoking... His face is eye/mind grabbing and easy to become fixated on the one open eye...

In contrast to the three monkeys, his one big ear hears all evil, his one big eye sees all evil, but, will he remove his pipe and speak of the all evil?

Thanks Don. Based on this search, Popeye the Sailor Man is a fictional cartoon character created by Elzie Crisler Segar. The character first appeared on January 17, 1929, in the daily King Features comic strip Thimble Theatre. At 94 he has grown old as all of us have. Never gave it any thought to the ears and eye other than being overly large. Some pointers in detail I will remember. Appreciate your thoughts. Altho, I think he may have a tendency to speak out of the side of his mouth so no pipe removal would be required.

As in Benjamin ... A composite, tugboat taken in Wisconsin while the body of the person display was in New Orleans. However, the head of Mr. Button is NOT my image. In most cases I'd rather use my own images for composites I put together. This is one of few I made an exception. If you have seen the movie Benjamin Button then you should be able to relate to this composite more clearly. Opinions would be greatly appreciate. Did I miss the mark?

Nicely done. The tug is oof; but you can still easily see what it is . So the tug becomes context while the figure is the main show. That works for me. I like this very much.

Thanks Erich, the tug was intentionally put oof. The original tug is in focus. At most times I will do that but sometimes I'll let it slip. Altho, there's some slight, maybe too much blur at the lower right of the pic. I let that portion slip, just being lazy. Glad it works for you.
