Weather.com no longer works correctly on my laptop (Win 11) or Desktop (Win 7) using Firefox.

Every other website I use works just fine. Weather.com does work correctly under Chrome and Edge.
I'm suspecting an anomaly with a Firefox update.
- The burger menu at the top right does nothing.
- Cannot enter info for the city search, top center.
- Videos do not play.
- Local radar does not load.
There are also other anomalies...

Would someone who uses Firefox see if weather.com works for them?
Weather.com says "They see no problem.".
I've not figured out how to tell/ask Mozilla yet.

Thanks.

(Updating to Firefox 114.0 after I hit send.)

Edit: 114.0 didn't change anything....

I just tried using Firefox and it works for me. I think I have Windows 10 (my son set it up so I'm not positive).

Dang... Thanks.

I've reset the router, cleared the browser cache,...
I can see the anomaly happening on ONE PC, if that Firefox got buggered, but not on two computers with different operating system versions.
One more thing to try, I'm running Blur in Firefox on both boxes. I'll disable blur for one of them and see if that changes anything...

Well I'll be.....

I disabled tracking blocking in Blur (IronVest) for weather.com and now the site works. But I get all the ads.
Sometimes asking a question prompts other trains of thought.

Now to contact IronVest about that to see if they may be aware of have a fix.

Thanks again for kicking my thought process!

Weather.com no longer works correctly on my laptop... (show quote)

I've been using Firefox exclusively for years. I don't currently have my desktop in my apartment, but also run Firefox on my Android Samsung phone for all of my browsing including UHH. I just went to weather.com and was able to use all features including entering my zip code and viewing radar which indicated the thunderstorms I am hearing out my window.

Probably doesn't help you at all. My version is 113.2 and appears to be the latest Android version as there are no updates in Playstore.

Problem solved. See my post above yours. I forgot all about Blur as it is transparent.
Yea, the (my) phone Firefox app is not running Blur. It works correctly also

I have a note in to IronVest. They do have a disclaimer that Blur may cause functionality problems on some websites, but weather.com has always worked with blur in the past, until recently.......
So I don't know who changed what code to cause the anomaly.

Thanks for helping!

Thanks for checking.

I found Blur to be the culprit.

I've been using Firefox exclusively since its inception as Netscape.
The only problem I ever had was recently with an add-on (IronVest/Blur), which is not intrinsic to Firefox.
I'll continue to use Firefox.

I have had too many crashes with Firefox recently that is why I switched to Brave.

Odd....
Mine works just fine, both on a 10+ year old Win 7 box and a new Win 11 box.

I use U-Block Origin on every PC I own. weather.com works fine, and blocks the ads too.

Firefox has me puzzled for another reason - every search I do takes a very long time before it actually brings up the new page.

Thanks. I'll be checking it out. Ir runs as an add-on (extension) to the browser, not independent, correct?

Blur (IronVest) is now popping up a "credential window" at many places, but not all. (It must have updated).
I don't want to use (be bothered with that) because I have that taken care of with Firefox.
It puts the popup right over the Firefox pick list!

Never had that problem.
Either Google search or Norton Safe Search, pops right up.
