…is a camera that walks and flies about and takes prize winning photos all by itself. May human photographers rest in peace. 😉

Who needs a flying camera when AI can make up images all by itself.

Me! It is a DJI Mini 2 "Aerial Camera" and taking pictures with it is a lot of fun.

Is there any AI involved in using it? The OP seemed to be talking about an AI drone that takes photos all by itself.

That will depend on how you define "AI". The DJI aerial camera series will dazzle most users with features that are certainly "intelligent". And, they don't all need the operator's input so would be "artificial".

If defined like you would for the new Photoshop "Generative Fill" feature or chatGPT, maybe not.

BUT, judging by some of the work being done it seems like a LOT of creativity is involved... OR, is photographic creativity just manipulation which pleases the senses...?

What passes for Creative Eye in the UHH Gallery section could easily be produced, in quantity, by AI.

Commercial photography is generally a matter of communication via cliches, so that is easily replaced by AI.

I think it might be interesting to see what AI has to say to some of these questions and posts by our fellow hogs... Even MORE interesting if it was NOT disclosed as an AI response until the end of the thread... Lets start by generating a picture and a handle... Any suggestions ?

But the drone operator or the person responsible for the data capture is the one who isolates the frames and recognizes relevant images.
