Kim, great photos, as a car guy you know how to capture a vehicle at its best views. It's only been the last couple of years when one would see station wagons at car shows except maybe a Nomad or Safari.

Thanks for your input about Nomads...and thanks to DDGM for the same. As much as a car guy as I am, you think I would have known that.

Thanks to you, and ddgm as well, for the model info about Nomads. I was never into wagons. But as a hardcore car nut, I should have known that Nomads were all up-scale 2 doors.

Also like seeing the 'working' wagons folks customize!

SW fan here. It is sad SW have almost dissapeared, replaced by SUVs
Prefer station wagons longer wheelbase, more carrying capacity, lower center of gravity much better handling
Current one Mercedes E450 wagon, previous one Mercedes E350 wagon was even better but T boned and totaled by a guy that did not stop at the stop sign
Truly do not see my sense in SUVs find wagons more attractive, must be my age

A great alternative to the Nomads whose asking prices have soared recently. The 2dr handyman wagons and sedan deliveries can be a very attractive alternative as these photos prove! Surprisingly, 4dr Station Wagons are also becoming more popular models to restore or modify and their prices will surely soar in the near future.
