Thanks to Post-Processing Digital Images

Yesterday I was having trouble processing a low light image of a hawk. I reached out to the post processing digital images section and was overwhelmed with the knowledgeable helpful responses I received. Responders were knowledgeable and kept the responses on point and helped me immensely. I would both like to thank them and encourage you to make use of this section if you have a PP question.

This is the kind of a advertising the less frequented sections need.

After founding For Your Consideration in 2015, SteveM would post announcements in main discussion every month that mentioned all the UHH sections. There are only about seven sections that new users are automatically subscribed to (the original ones, managed by Admin); the rest are well hidden from casual eyes.

During one of my stints managing Post Processing section, I created a new topic in main discussion titled, "Do We Need a Post Processing Section?"

In it, I provided information about the section, its history, and a link. Even so, casual readers of that thread didn't "get" that the section already existed

Click on "all sections" at the bottom of any UHH page to find 55+ specialty areas. Subscribe to any of interest, then use "newest topics" at the top of any UHH page whenever you log in. All new topics since your last visit will be in a single list, sorted by date/time of creation.

Thank you, Linda, for posting this. I started to read the “information” thread and will finish it later. I still have a lot to learn about places to go within UHH.
