Old news, Dennis. Biden's announcement was in April 2022, and the promised aid became law in Dec 2022. Funds can be spent on several non-defence programs, as per a 1961 Foreign Assistance Act.

"In 2022, Congress approved a total of $113 billion in aid to Ukraine through four different funding packages, according to the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB).
Of the spending, the CRFB says $46 billion of that went toward non-defense departments needs:
$26.9 billion to an economic support fund
$7.9 billion to international disaster assistance
$6.6 billion to refugee assistance
$1.5 billion for assistance for Europe, Eurasia and Central Asia (or countries that could be impacted by the war in Ukraine)
$3.1 billion for other non-defense needs.
Ukraine’s funding was allocated via the Consolidated Appropriations Act, which became law in December 2022. This is also known as the omnibus spending bill, which funds several agencies or areas of government."

What does it matter how dated this information is if it’s true?

Two of the plagues mentioned in Revelation 9 that will afflict mankind during the Tribulation are fire and smoke. This with one other will wipe out one third of the population. Is it a stretch to think that they could be related to global warming?

I'm not a Trump guy...didn't vote for him either time.
Nor did I vote Democrat...their candidates were far worse.

But...

What made Trump different politically...than ALL the rest...at least going back a few decades...

Trump did not come into office...owned by anyone...a true free wheeler.

Both sides of the aisle had very little influence or leverage against him...no one likes that in politics.
The deep state was...terrified...but went to work...with the help of the hapless media...which has lost its way...all of them.

The deep state won...the citizens lost...though the spin suggests the opposite...but the opportunity to really clean out the dust bunnies...has been lost.

The deep state continues its policies...and the US ends up in the Ukraine...that's the deep state right there...right there.

If Trump did nothing else, his presence showed how crooked our government is. The Democrats more than the Republicans but crooked is crooked.

They all feed at the very same trough...different angles...different methodology...same trough.

Not sure what the problem is...the climate has never been static.

Warming is better than cooling....no contest.

It's a lot of noise and scare tactics...helping to gain coin and power.

Nothing new...just a new crowd to fall for stuff like this...it's not that hard to tip the herd over.

For the human race, as a whole, you are absolutely right. Another ice age would be far worse for humanity than any amount of global warming. As for the more subtle climatic changes witnessed over the past century, benefit vs harm is up for debate, and depends on one's point of view. As a long time NYC resident, I welcome the milder winters. For me it means a longer sailing season and lower heating bills. I am sure that local golfers would agree. I am not about to complain about seeing bare legs on the ladies well into december either. Someone else who loves skiing, snowmobiling, or other winter sports, or whose livelihood depends on them might beg to differ. As to members of the animal kingdom, that depends on what species they belong to. In the case of the alligator mentioned earlier, it would have seemed unimaginable 50 or 60 years ago to find one swimming in Prospect Park Like I said before, this creature was probably released months ago, and managed to survive and grow, due to the exceptionally mild winter we have been experiencing. It was near death when caught, and I suspect another cold snap would have finished it off. This certainly doesn't rule out the possiblity of breeding populations just out of their normal range. Check out the map made around 30 years ago. It shows how they extend almost to the Virginia/North Carolina border. I don't doubt that several have crossed that line and are lurking in the Virgina side of the Dismal Swamp canal. Tennessee might even be next. For Polar Bears, the opposite is happening. Not only is their normal habitat shrinking, but they are coming into conflict with humans in their search for food, and with Grizzly bears in their search for mates, resulting in a hybrid species, the "Pizzly Bear"

Maybe that is why my relatives in Florida have complained so much how their mail service stinks
