Once a site of rolling hills and trees. Then it was "gentrified"!

There are too many people------ Practice birth control .
Also, mankind is on a path of self destruction .

So, how many kids are "acceptable"?
Is three too many?

It's only progress for the building companies and the taxing agencies.

I am sure, like many, you have asked, "Where are the jobs for the coming people who will rent out or buy the living areas (at a high mark up)?" Where are the jobs for them? I can't believe that the industries will follow to use the people. Many industries have been moving out of other areas for relocation, and still it will not be enough to maintain the lifestyles.

This is the flaw in our modern economy - people are gathered where the jobs are, not jobs gathering to where the people are. Jobs move away and their dependent communities collapse.

This started as a farmland with steer munching on the grass where now we see the pool of water and the earth-mover. Where the buildings are, it was forested with hardwoods and firs. Where the power lines can be seen, there was a shallow ravine that is no longer there.

From a pleasant farm area, "Teddy R." ran across yelling "Charge!" and they "Gentrified"! (Teddy R. from "Arsenic and Old Lace.)

This has just happened in less than a year.

I wouldn’t call that “gentrification”. I’d call that maximizing ROI.

I'm sure the developers see it that way also.

If you read his public statements, Elon Musk thinks the biggest danger for human kind, long term, is a decreasing human population. Of course, his Billions came from selling to mass markets. So that makes sense to him! But overpopulation is a clear and present danger to future generations, as it is to us. Just a fact. As I said, I admire him and what he is doing greatly. But he is wrong here. Just as everyone is wrong about something, sometime.

Yes, in my opinion. But better than four! I have nine surviving brothers and two sisters! Is that too much? Yes! But I love all of them! And I'm glad that I wasn't left out! Most of us have two or less kids. Some have none and aren't planning to change that. My two have both decided to have none. I applaud that, with regret that my millions of years old gene line has come to a screeching halt!
