Correct, it isn't the old Minolta that Sony bought years ago.

It could be this one or a similar one. It has a small 1/2.3-inch size image sensor. But its free, so enjoy;

I wonder who makes the lenses for JBL Limited, or whatever they call themselves. Heck, I'd leave it in the car in a Styrofoam ices chest to have a real cam instead of cell phone always on hand. If it's stolen, no real loss. I have a Canon G11 doing that duty now. Not a lot of value remaining, but it's a neat little camera and I like it.

Maybe instead of seeing opinions of others (who may not even know), it might be good to try about 100 shots with it to decide for yourself whether you like it or not. You may be surprised.

My wife just won through her job a choice of prizes including a Minolta 20mp FHD bridge camera. That is all the info they provide. Does anyone know anything about this camera & if so, thoughts please good or bad. Thanks UHH members.

That looks like a recent Kodak digital that I recently saw. Take a look at the logo - slight differences.

Problem there. Its a $400 camera. What if all the prizes are of ~$400 retail ? $400 buys a third rate camera, but it can buy a really nice household appliance or a large screen tablet etc etc.
