She had buck teeth, but the following year her teeth were perfect.

Those were the days
Saw him at a rock/roll show in the Brooklyn Paramount many, many years ago

That's interesting. When I heard the news of Jerry Lee's passing on the forum here this morning, other "high energy" performers came to mind. James Brown was one and the other that I thought of was "Mr. Excitement" Jackie Wilson. I thought he was the best. Loved that guy!!
Interesting side note. I went online and plugged in Jackie Wilson and this popped up "Jackie Wilson collapsed on-stage from a heart attack while he was in the middle of the phrase <My Heart is Crying> while appearing as one of the feature acts in Dick Clark's <Good Ol' Rock and Roll Revue> in 1975". He didn't die at that point. Pretty sad ending.

That’s exactly where I saw him, as well. I think the emcee was Alan Friedman, or Murray the K. Can’t remember which?

There will never be another one like him!

Will

Lived in Va Beach from 1988 to 2001. Several times there was an entertainer who appeared on stage at the ocean front. His name was Jason D.Williams. Close your eyes, and this guy turned into JLL. Music, sound, looks were stunning. Anyone else familiar with JDW?

JLL had to be the father of JDW.

I saw him in a small Milwaukee bar. He had a four piece backup, probably local. This was during his down period when he could not get big venues to play in. It was the best live concert of my life.
