Favourite sayings/words of wisdom
What is your favourite word or saying? I remember years ago someone said to me "Never argue with a man, who hasn't got the intelligence to know when you have the better of him" and I never do.
A saying I use an awful lot ..........may your god watch over you , whom ever he or she may be.
Also "your not special-your unique.
Where ever I go, there I am and I don't always believe everything I say

I had never heard this until my mid 30's but then after that I heard it used on the TV show Frasier by the character of Daphne Moon played by the British actress Jane Leeves. So every time it comes to mind it's with her British accent.
"Shut your cake hole!" or
"Shut your pie hole!"
I don't use it, but I sure would like to.
Shut your cake hole lol take,s me back a few year,s and yes I,m British and used it. One saying I do like a lot and also use is "talk to the hand the head ain't listening"
Never look back something may be gaining on you.
