Now that all of the children are growing up. Oh wait it's just an old barn, but it makes you wonder if the next generation want to carry on the tradition or do they want to move on to so called greener pastures?
Good shot and thoughts, Bill!
Thank you Mike I appreciate it

Nice photo. It fits my childhood pretty well, but I moved on also.
Nice image, Bill. Time does march on.

I wouldn't mind staking a claim there
It looks like a place of beauty and awesome serenity
Yes Joe. It's just outside of where I grew up. A town of 2,700.

Anyone who would voluntarily leave that area has no idea what the real world is like
It was pretty laid back at one time Frank, and the Eagleford schale boom came along and made billionaires of people. It still didn't keep the town alive tho.

Nice photo. A friend of ours owns a dairy farm with 2,500 cows and put his kids through college and given them a pretty good life, but none of them want the hard work that it requires to take it on. The mentality nowadays is why work hard when you can make more money without the intense commitment. In a way I can't blame them, but there are still careers out there that you are married to that do give a good return that don't require a college degree.
