That's a cool shot, Bill! Scary or not, when you see the dark cloud of birds wheeling in the air making all kinds of fantastical shapes and waves, that's what you are seeing! I think it's really cool as long as they keep their distance!

A 'murmuration' of Starlings. Starlings were introduced to North America in the 1890s when 100 of them were released in New York's Central park by a group who wanted America to have all the birds that Shakespeare ever mentioned. I bet they wouldn't have done it if they had known the consequences!
