in this scam got any money ? is money withheld from the seller for a peroid of time ? there are many of these inexpensive leica listings by new sellers from europe . if eBay loses money , why do the continue the listings ?
if scammers don't profit from these scams , why do they continue ?

Some years ago I had a seller account on eBay. As I recall I had to provide both a valid credit card and bank account number, which eBay verified. So eBay certainly has the information needed to initiate an account debit or charge transaction against a wayward seller. This of course assumes there are assets or a credit line there to be charged.
