seems there are eBay listings for leica m10s at unbelievable low prices . has anyone bid and received one of these cameras ? if these are all scams , and eBay or paypal returns your money , does the scammer get paid , and who loses the money ? i have purchased a lot on eBay and not received a few items and been refunded , but i have never sold , so i don't know how that works .

I have never found good deals for photographic equipment in Ebay. There are a few small accessories that are Ok to buy there, however. This screams scam. Incidentally, you didn't mention the country. There is a big difference between Germany and Moldova.

Yes, "if" you get your money back. eBay and PP are not in business to give refunds. I'd be leery of buying anything questionable on eBay from a foreign country. I bought a lens from Japan, and that went fine, but it was a Nikon lens at a reasonable price, and the seller had many sales and good reviews.

Seller just registered last week, has no transactions, no rating. What could go wrong?

i am not really asking for advice , i am just wondering why eBay accepts these sellers . if they return the buyers
money , has the scammer been paid and does eBay or paypal loose the money ?
