Always felt sorry for my buddy as a kid, his birthday was December 25th, Christmas day, so, only one party, one family gathering and most importantly, one set of presents. From what I remember, the family, (they'd moved away), had decided to celebrate his future birthdays a week later to make it a separate and special event just for him. But I do still recall feeling bad for him in the early years! (oh, as a side note, no credit cards back then)!
