I get the credit card trifecta this weekend...today is our 50th wedding anniversary, tomorrow the granddaughter's mom's birthday and Sunday is Mothers Day. YIPPEE!!! Was thinking of getting my bride a Nikon Z9 or one of the latest Sage fly rods...she really could use one or both. I have some swamp land for sale as well.

Anniversary card this year!

No real words of advice to get this far except...it helps to work as a team. The challenges come when both are not pulling on the same end of the rope at the same time. Another challenge...when you have diverging interests; when does doing what you want to do take preference and not become a selfish choice? A very fine line there for me over a lot of years. My mantra has been..."Have Nikon; Will Travel". My spouse would never get on an airplane; not even to accompany me.

Already tried that (and it failed miserably). Best advice is to buy her one that you can use if she hates it - that’s how I got started with the Fuji system. Didn’t plan it that way, but worked out pretty well.

Your title reminded me of a recent change by Synchrony Bank. I have several cards from them, and I can now get to all of them on one website - very convenient.

If you don't have a CC that gives cash rewards, get one. I have $84 credit on my Sam's Club card and $83 on Amazon. I wait for Amazon to get to $100, and then I start paying with that. Sam's gives 5% back on gasoline. Right now, that's over $0.20 per gallon.

I use a Citi card that give me $2 back for every hundred I spend, and I put everything on it, even utility bills - never use cash except for tips and things like that. I save up the rewards for new lenses.
