Trying out my Sony 1.4 extender, got these shots at Miller Showers Park in Bloomington Indiana. For the first time in my photographer life, I didn't wish I had a bigger lens. Starting with the 200-600 zoom, on a crop sensor (1.5), and the extender (1.4) giving me a 1260 equiv.

Absolutely fabulous, stunning captures I have a 150-600 lens and doubt that I could get such crispness if I had an extender with it (Even though I am yearning for one...)💫💫💫💫💫

Yeah, Sony glass is really impressive. Long way from 1977 and my Canon 200 2.8 with a vivitar 2x extender

I had a Tamaron and when Sony came out with theirs and it was under 2K, had to go for it and the Tamaron impressed me for the price but the Sony blew me away

Looks like that combo is going to work as long as you have plenty of light!

Modern glass just amazes me. This zoom is way sharper than my 70's 200mm prime Canon ever was.

Gorgeous set, Bill! Although I have the 1.4tc on my 200-600 lens, I have not tried going to crop sensor. Thanks for the idea.

I love my a6500, faster focus than my a7ii. Thinking about upgrading it to the a7IV. But it seems that the big zoom lives on the a6500, the a7ii is the landscape, night sky, close up camera and gets lenses changed out more.
