Trying out my Sony 1.4 extender, got these shots at Miller Showers Park in Bloomington Indiana. For the first time in my photographer life, I didn't wish I had a bigger lens. Starting with the 200-600 zoom, on a crop sensor (1.5), and the extender (1.4) giving me a 1260 equiv.

Good Thursday morning Bill,

Talk about absolutely beautiful color saturation! These are terrific. Number 1 is my favorite although the Mallard and Red Headed (?) duck images are excellent. Please keep on posting.

All the best to you and yours,

Terry

The birds are beautiful - you really captured detail but the real icing on the cake is the reflections, WOW!

Thanks, I was really pleased with the color. The park has a structure that goes out into the water feature and in the summer has a falls coming from the the end, the top is a walk way so I was able to get above them and shoot down which I think helped get the water dark.

Thanks, I liked the reflections I was getting from being able to shoot down on my subjects, the mallard is my favorite and the way the waves picked up the sky color really gives it a almost painting feel.
