Poll Line Rd or Vanishing Point

Just going through some older shots from Point n Shoot Nikon S8100, carries easily and not heavy. A row of power lines that run off out sight beyond the hills, therefore Poll Line Rd or Vanishing Point. I could have cropped the power lines out but that cut the top off the first two poles. The evil of two lessors. Thanks for looking. Cliff

Just tested "remove power lines" in Luminar Neo - I hope you don't mind. Great photo (yours)

Good eye "USN RET"! Y're right to remain the extreme left side of the picture as is (=without cutting off the top of the first 2 poles). I also find it gives a stronger feeling of "leading line". Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!

Better with the lines. Got me thinking about where they go😳

Sadly it also removed the critical ones needed to connect the poles.
Looks terrible without the lines connecting the poles.

Nice job of removing the lines, but what’s the point of the poles without the lines? To me, lines are sometimes better left alone.

I don't mind. We all don't see the same things when looking at the same subject. Rorschach test anyone??
Thanks for looking and the FIX. Cliff

The photo was taken onboard Naval Air Test Center China Lake. The power lines lead to a test site in the next valley to the east. Thanks for looking. Cliff

Thanks for the explanation…but I can come up with a more interesting story than that😂

OK , you got me. NWC China Lake encompasses 1million + acres of real estate with multiple test sites and laboratories that consume massive amounts of power. Rumor has it there is a hangar/storage facility that has been dug into the side of one of the larger hills with lots of razor wire topped fencing and signage establishing that it is a restricted area indicating lethal force is authorized to repel intruders. The standard answer when questioned about the existence of said facility is met with a blank stare and "I have no idea of what you are asking about."
Dannj, is that better? Cliff
