You do like to stir the pot don't you. Mine arrived 12/23 and I will pick it up 1/3. It will be the third (plan to have four) mirrorless bodies. Two existing Z6s and, most likely two Z9s. Anyone looking for a gently used D6 or D5? (Keeping my D850 until the lenses catch up). Happy New Year to ALL!
With all due respect, may I ask why you have duplicates in your inventory? No judgement....I am just curious.

Because I am a working pro. I almost never carry only one body. On my pair of Z6 bodies, one has a 24-70 (F4 or F2.8 native) lens, the other a 70-200/2.8 (native) lens. Usually, but not always. Depends upon what I intend to shoot. Happy New Year to ALL!

Makes perfect sense and I should have thought of that. Stay safe and have a great year of wonderful photo ops!
B&H got their shipment in on the 24th. I verified my place in line and they told me shipments to customers start first of the year. <shrug> I'll be happier when I get the shipment notification! Kinda funny how much UHH buzz this new camera generates...especially amongst those who "don't care."

What is the difference between Type A and Type B CFexpress cards? I noticed Sony takes A whereas it looks like Nikon takes B. What is this all about?
...speed. Big time. Four times as fast as my XQD cards. Think buffer, the Z9 can shoot 45MP RAW files at 20 frames a second...I've seen one test where the guy shot over 1800 frames before the buffer filled up. So, the card used must be able to handle this incredible amount of data, neh?
" Type B cards have 2 PCIe lanes and a maximum theoretical speed of 2,000MB/s. Type A cards are smaller and feature a single PCIe lane for a maximum theoretical speed of 1,000MB/s. These cards are designed for smaller cameras and devices in which size is more important than speed. "

Every sample picture taken by every camera looks good.

With today's supply and chip situation, I wouldn't expect that anytime soon. Happy New Year to ALL!
You can still use XQD cards in the Z9. I plan on doing that as I have them from my D500 and D850 and have a XQD card reader. They are slower however.

It's not that I don't care, it's the fact that the Z9 shoots 20 fps RAW. My current Sony a9, which is 2 years old, shoots 20 fps RAW. I don't need JPEG images so I don't care about 30 fps Jpeg or 120 fps Jpeg. Both camera focusing systems will give me accurate, nicely focused, birds in flight. Both will give me sharp images that I can make beautiful 20X30 prints.
I currently pair my a9 with a 200-600 lens that produces beautiful images. Where is the Nikon 200-600?
I also currently have the Sony 600mm f4 lens I use on wildlife and can hand hold, does Nikon have a native Z 600mm f4 lens that I can easily hand hold?
I also currently have a Sony 400mm 2.8 lens that I can hand hold, does Nikon have a native Z 400 2.8 mm lens that I can hand hold?
I am a professional wildlife photographer, I love Nikon, and it's not that I don't care, it's that once Nikon has the above 3 lenses, I will be glad to own the Nikon Z9.
So, please, don't put me in the don't care column, put me in the still waiting for Nikon to catch up column.
