Nikon years and years ago used to quiz photographers all the time on what they needed to do their job better. Then they stopped. I am glad to read that recently they went back to asking how they could make a camera pro's needed, they poured money into R&D, something they had not done in a while, the result was the Z series and the Z9, I applaud Nikon for a nice camera, but I can do the same with my a9 for BIF, so for now, Sony it is, I dearly hope Nikon catches up and passes everyone again, love the competition, it benefits all photographers.

I can understand and appreciate your comments but I had a Sony (Alpha A7iii I think) and changed to the Nikon. There were many things I liked about the Sony but they were overshadowed by what I felt were the camera's shortcomings---mainly the ergonomics and overall handling.
Its good that people have different views on these matters cuz it keeps the competition keen and we all benefit.
But---tho I like my Z6ii--- I have felt for a long time that Nikon hates photographers.
You are correct, the ergonomics and handling was an issue with Sony, so I added a Sony vertical grip to my a9 and most of the issues were solved.
Again, until Nikon comes out with a camera that can surpass the a1 and lenses to match, I am stuck with Sony.
