Growing tired of Adobe/W10 and repeated issues with creative cloud, I’m looking for a replacement of Photoshop, Lightroom CC, RAw, Bridge — all of it. Capture One seems to come very close but not 100%
Suggestions please?
I have my own backup, file management schemes making that aspect unimportant — to me.

It depends on what you require your editor to be able to accomplish.
Elements is a stand-alone.
Last time I bought it.....

ON1 Photo Raw is my main app. Went to it from Photoshop and Lightroom. Responsive service, continuing growth, excellent range of capabilities.

On a Mac, the combination of Apple Photos, Serif Affinity Photo, and Gentlemen Coders' Raw Power seems to be quite useful. Best news is, Photos comes with a Mac, Affinity Photo is under $50, and Raw Power is about $40.

I have no issues with the Adobe Photography Plan. I use Lightroom Classic and Photoshop and never the new Lightroom cloud-centric version.

This guy, J Christina, has made it his life's mission to find and test alternatives to Adobe. Here's one of his videos.

Process raw files in Capture One. When you need a raster editor get Affinity Photo.

Agree completely.
In my opinion, Capture One Pro processes RAW images better than ON1, Luminar, DxO or Affinity Photo. And Capture One can do many - but not all - subsequent editing refinements that the others can do.
Affinity Photo's biggest shortcoming is RAW development, but nicely adds to the editing refinements lacking in Capture One.

My vote is Capture One. Much better raw processing. I’m not sure I understand the image organization that well yet although for me organization is not that important.

ACDSee (Ultimate version)

I left the Adobe realm years ago and couldn't be happier.

One of the best decisions I ever made was switching from Lightroom to ON1. If you have a PC, the Microsoft Edge browser will read PDF files and has built-in controls, similar to the full version of Adobe (albeit, not as robust). In fact, PCs should default to Edge as the PDF reader, but if you have problems with that, just deal with that in file association settings. If you don’t have Edge on your PC, it can be download it for free.

I've been running Adobe software on a 11 yr old computer, first with Win 7 and later with Win 10 - with the correct configuration - no issues at all. I also run Capture One, DXO PhotoLab and On1 Raw on the same machine - no issues.

It's easy to blame software when something goes wrong - but without a complete system configuration it's hard to suggest any replacement software. Even the "best" software will not run well on an inadequate computer.

Each raw converter has its pros and cons - but none can produce a truly finished image - though in many cases they can come close. But what can be done with a good 16 bit ProPhoto export from any of them when refined in Photoshop, it's hard to give a thumbs-down to Photoshop. I also do photo restoration, which is nearly impossible with most other applications. I agree that Capture One gets you to the best result from a raw file quicker and easier than the competition, and that On1Raw is a software product with a future, but I will also point out that using On1Raw does have it's challenges, since it is missing stuff, can be unstable, and is not quite ready for prime time - it's close but not quite. I use it a lot to do many things.

Topaz Labs is another to consider. I stuck with CS6 and never paid a penny to Adobe since. I also have Topaz and On1, all good software.

What does reading PDF’s have to do with anything?

I use C1 with Topaz plugins for bird photography and also do my own file management so that part is irrelevant.

For landscapes and people I prefer Luminar AI although raw conversion is in C1.

Left PS and LR subscription several years ago and don't miss it at all. I still use CS6 as a plugin from time to time.
