We're already to July 6, where do you stand?
Are you learning to better use your current equipment?
Are you learning your processing software?
Are you organizing your legacy images?
Are you organizing your new images?
Did you sell your unused and outdated equipment?
Did you ask for help?
Have you answered a request for help?
Are you using selective focus with an off-center AF point placed specifically on the subject?
Are you investigating higher ISOs?
Are you using your (speedlite) flash?
Are you using your tripod?
Are you using Back Button Focus?
Did you change to mirrorless?
Today is day 187 of 2021, will you create an image over the next 178 remaining days that achieves your resolution?
Yes to 5 1/2 ... I partially went to mirrorless.
Can I blame Covid for no doing more?

Yes to 5 items and I went 1/2 mirrorless, quite a while back, which still makes me . . .

A very interesting post. I seem to be a perpetual learner. Although I have been taking photos for many years, I spend hours watching educational videos and reading about photography. I can answer “yes” to many of the questions posed, but I confess I don’t shoot enough and I frequently make stupid mistakes when I do shoot.
I recently joined a camera club which takes field trips regularly, to encourage me to spend more time in the field. Practice, practice, practice — my new resolution.

Do you have to have goals? My goals as always is having fun. You really want me to quit photography. Having goals and such seems like what my boss would say. I have enough of that. I am retiring now. I don't want any of that.

I continue fat, dumb, and happy.
There's lots left to learn in my processing software.
I organized my legacy images years ago. Very few of my current images will be considered legacy.
My workflow organizes my current images as much as they will ever be organized.
I continue to use my outdated equipment. There are a few lenses in the basement that don't get used much, but I wouldn't put a large value on them.
Ask for help? I've been male for most of my life.
I frequently give my opinion when help is requested. Sometimes when it isn't.
I have changed the focus points off-center on rare occasions.
I look at ridiculously high ISO levels whenever I buy a new body and try to determine where "ridiculous" starts. (It's usually somewhat below the highest native ISO level).
I use my speedlight when it is needed. I carry 6 sets of batteries in my bag.
I use my tripod but store it in the basement so I don't trip over it as frequently.
I have tried BBF but my manual sinisterity gets the better of me.
I'm continuing fat, dumb, and happy with mirrors.
I gave up resolutions decades ago.

Nothing of the sort - I'll stand on my photos for any recent year. I find a directive from someone with no authority over me to be distasteful. I believe I made a similar comment on the initial thread on the subject.

I think this may be the reason I haven't turned "Pro". <Grin>
My advice, keep on shooting, and enjoy!

And once again you confuse a
suggestion with a
directive.
Nobody is forcing you to participate. If not interested why do you feel the need to comment. If you don't comment we will all no that you are not interested.
