Been doing mostly video work / the team I’ve been working will all shoot Sony so just makes it easier to work together, especially if we are all using lenses from company.

Always wondered, why a not just get a video camera over a DSLR/Mirrorless for video work?

From what I’ve seen with others it varies depending what mode you’re in.. 4khq and 8K have an overheat shutoff which turns off even when the body isn’t hot.
Sony’s don’t have record limits and canons still have the 29:59 video clip limit

We rented it for a month before the 1st update and it was about $660..
Worse case scenario I use it and return it. I have 41 more days to return it.
I did have a buyer lined up here in town but his wife wasn’t having it..
