Seems all my camera straps continually slip off my shoulder. Is there a rubberized or otherwise sticky application that can be attached to the part that is supposed to reside on one's shoulder? If not, any recommendations for a strap that does retain its position?

That's why I exclusively use straps made by this company. https://journeycamera.com/upstrap-camera-straps

I sewed epaulets on both shoulders on myphotography vest. I used 1 inch webbing and parachute buckles. I picked them up at jo Ann fabrics.

Thanks, Bob. I'll grab one of these for my D3s.

On a photo vest or overcoat, you can sow an oversized button tha would prevent the strap from slipping down, a trick pick up from my fly fishing friend and guru, otherwise I agreed with the suggestion of blackrapid still of sling wich by the way work very good, expensive but effective.

Canon straps are slippery on one side but hold there place on the other side. If you wear it so the logo is visible you are good to go.

What part of a neck strap “is supposed to reside in one’s shoulder” ?!?!?

No wonder it slips off of someplace it doesn’t even belong.

I like my OPTECH for comfort but it does slip. Thanks Bob, I'll look into these.
Phone them up quick and get a commission deal.

Sadly, they're keeping them all for you boys / girls. U.K. and many other Countries awaiting post C19 shipment.

I like the Ape Case Pro DSLR Strap. Lightweight, flexible, good stick on the shoulder, and inexpensive.

I found a staple gun works the best for me

The lovitily stealth sling bag looks nice. I've got a lowepro sling bag it works really well.

I carry cross shoulder from where the camera hangs. For that, any strap long enough will do. For me, I use a number of OpTechs.
