The current bird irruption has brought down Evening Grosbeaks in large numbers invading our bird feeders. It took a while but, a couple arrived here in my feeders. According to the pundits, Evening Grosbeaks are experiencing the steepest population decline (92% since 1970) of all land birds in the continental U.S. and Canada.
