That is your take away? Seeing how the Republican Party is shrinking, I can see your feeling of impending doom and gloom about allowing more citizens to vote and working to overturn Citizen's United.

It has nothin to do with party, ut aout how a president is elected. And adhering to the conststutional imperatie that the STATE LEGISLATORS choose how each state elects a preseden. NOT any political party in powere at that time.

That is a pretty broad, general swipe for two sentences...well, actually one sentence. The second sentence is irrelevant.

Care to explain your concerns?

The majority wins is the basis for all elections. HR1 has nothing to do with any party in particular. It simply guarantees every ELIGIBLE American has their vote counted.

I thought that was what Trump and his anarchists were concerned about.

Republican Party shrinking, I don't think so, so the dems stuffed ballot boxes, and changed election laws so that there was no accounting for which votes were legit and which weren't. We will never really understand what happened in the last election, but it is pretty clear that the republicans would still hold the Senate were it not for Stacey Abrams, her sister, and the lawsuits she prevailed in and Trump's non stop campaign that was upsetting to Georgia voters on both sides of the aisle. Democrat control shrunk in the House which should send you a message and so far I am more than confident that the first few weeks of the new Administration is scaring the Phuck out of everyday Americans.

After a week in office Biden's approval rating is 63%, a number Trump could only dream of. Where are all those scared everyday Americans?

And you say the Republicans would still control the Senate...if they were allowed to continue to suppress the African-American vote in Georgia. That is tactic number one for the Republican Party...in every state.

I know it difficult for the Republicans to face, but just look at the hard cold numbers. Your base is overall in the rural areas and they are slowly but surely going away. Now after the backlash from Trump this fallout will be felt for many years to come. Reality is that Trump has moved many Republicans to Independent's as they were appalled by the antics of Trump and the shame that he has brought on our once well respected nation. The World is happier now that this pariah has been sent packing. It is so refreshing to not have constant turmoil and nasty hate speech littering our everyday existence.

IMO, approval ratings after one week in office mean nothing. Give it a year and see where the numbers are.

And this explains why the Republicans have lost the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 Presidential elections?

Independents continue to grow in numbers at the expense of both major political parties, last I looked. No major party can win without the support of this middle grouping.

Does it also explain why the Republicans have also won approx. 2,500 of the 3,000 counties in the country?
