Needs more than a new roof. This barn is less than two miles from my house so I will check and photo it's downfall about every few weeks.

Bud, Great image. What do you think of buying it with me and we restore it back to its original beauty?

Thanks Ron. While I didn't photo it last winter I don't remember it being so bad. I drive that road infrequently, but I don't remember it being that bad last year. I don't think it will survive a heavy snowfall. I am going to take another shot next week at a slightly different angle and With something longer than the 30mm lens that I had on that day.

Better to buy and then carefully dismantle and sell the wood for interior decorating. There's a lot of money there.

Agreed. They also make excellent photography studios, if they have a large sliding or double door facing S or W. Unfortunately, this one looks to have lost most of its roof trusses; unlikely to make for a cost-effective repair.

At my age (90), that it not something I can do, even if the owner wanted to sell. But I will explore te idea with some younger friends and family.

My barn looked sort of like that. This summer I had it rebuilt. Cost me two years' income! But it's back to beautiful now. Old barns are hard to kill.
