I've had trouble getting my insulin from Optum Rx several times. Once they sent it to a PO Box that I haven't had for 20+ years! You can't send a cold-pack item to a PO Box! I don't even know how they got that address, because I never gave it to them.

One of my biggest gripes with them is that they never notify me when they send the last refill. They wait until I order again, and then say, "We can't fill that order because your refills are all gone. You'll have to get a new Rx from your doctor." If they would notify me when they send the last refill, I could request a new refill right away and not have to wait for the doctor to send them another Rx!

The problem is the postal workers know they can't be fired .

It has nothing to do with the President and everything to do with the people the USPS hires, it has been screwed up for years and no one seems to be able to get it right most of the people they hire couldn’t find there butt in the dark with both hands and a flashlight.

That is the least of their worries, their jobs are being eliminated

Maybe UPS and FED EX should take over the post office.

To all who have made political responses in my thread - PLEASE. STOP. NOW. To anyone just thinking about posting a political comment in MY topic, PLEASE DO NOT. I started this post in “Chit Chat”, not “The Attic”. Had I wanted this to turn political and have it moved to “The Attic”, I would have saved time and aggravation and just started it in “The Attic”.

Every pharmacy I have ever used lists number of refills on the label.

People still have to enter zip code correctly, and human employees still carry mail from spot to spot with the possibility of dropping something.

I have Optum RX. I never have had any issues with delivery or refills. About 5 months ago, I put all my prescriptions on auto refill. You might give that a try.

Good luck,
Mark

USPS works like a charm for me here in Florida, and I get and send packages all over the US, all the time. With their budget cuts and equipment removals, hours cuts, etc. services are sufering for many regions. The Post Office is just like any other US Government service, none (Army/Navy/AirForce/SpaceForce/Marines, nor all the other "departments" make any money, all the services cost money to provide the benefits. Why does anyone expect that the PO would make money (without some serious effort to make it into a "for profit" business) and then it wouldn't be cheap, would it.... If you make the same cuts to the "For Profit" package carriers, they would have the same problems. If you mail stuff "ground", or bulk book mailings, etc. don't expect quick delivery. If it is going out of the US, all bets are off.

I also like UPS and FEDex, but would not want them for regular mail..... Amazon would be OK if the drivers had routes like the others - I never have the same driver twice...some find my house just fine, others have left packages "elsewhere" several recovered, several not (but they make no effort to find once they call it delivered). My local PO - if the package I am expecting shows delivered and it didn't come here, they send someone out to retrieve it, and I get it. That has only happened (I believe) 4 times in the last 20-30 years. Hooray for the USPS, long live the USPS - I strongly trust and support the USPS.

Whatever type mail you receive (junk mail of any type) has nothing to do with the Post Office operations - it is mail, it is their job to deliver it, they do - whether you like the mail you recieve or not, it is still mail, paid for delivery...they are doing their job.

We sent a letter to the person that purchased the house the my wife grew up in, and it came back no such ROAD as a reason to return it. Took it to the local post office and showed it on my phone (google), they checked it and said it most have been a new carrier.

The label on your medicine bottle should tell you how many refills you have left.
