No fear needed, they are a great vendor, Buy and Sell experience with them, MPB is top shelf along with UsedPhotoPro (Roberts) and KEH. They also have given the best (highest) quotes/payouts on used gear of the 3. The big camera retailers are good too (B&H and Adorama, etc.).

Never had a problem with secondhand lenses from MPB. The description on the website has always proved accurate in my experience. I check thier site a couple of times a month......just in case there is something I hadn't realised I need.

I have used them to sell my gear. Have been completely satisfied. One time they even sent me more than the estimate.

I've used them several times and found them very good.

Their appraisal of the quality of products is honest (I sold a camera body describing the conditions as good, and when they looked at it, they upped it to excellent)

Their pricing is competitive, and they pack everything very well and use a reputable despatch company.

The staff see knowledgable and generally respond to enquiries quickly.

I'd definitely look at them if I was going to buy - I've bought camera bodies, lenses and a speedlight from them.

They are legit. I have used them a couple of times, purchasing both a camera body and lenses. They do an extensive review of each piece and price accordingly. I have also sold equipment and their grading was higher than I put, however in reviewing they were correct and paid a fair price.

I was in the market for a discontinued Zeiss 35mm Distagon T* f/2 ZF.2 lens for about a year, and based on a mention of MPB I read on the UHH site, I visited the MPB.com website a few weeks ago. Low and behold, they had a 35mm Zeiss Distagon listed in "Excellent" condition at a reasonable price compared to my eBay searches. I purchased the lens after speaking to a very knowledgeable and friendly customer service person. The lens arrived from their Brooklyn location within 3 business days (in the middle of the pandemic) in perfect condition, and included the original box, front and rear caps as well as a lens hood. Although the lens was listed a "used," it appeared to be brand new to me. I'm exceptionally happy with this lens as well as discovering MPB.com, and would not hesitate in recommending this online photo store to anyone. There are nearly 7,000 reviews on their web site rating transactions as 94% "excellent" (including mine), and I encourage any interested parties to check them out. In fact, I'm heading over to the site right now...

I have had several transactions buying from and selling to MPB and I would not hesitate to do so again. They are honest and will bend over backwards to assist you. In fact if they think they gave you a low quote, they will raise it when they receive what you are selling. Excellent packing and I can't say enough good things about them. So buy without fear!

I have sold 4 lenses on their web site and bought two. They paid me more money for my lenses than anyone else. I have found them to be very trustworthy and will buy from them again.
