Slide to digital cost, an old topic

I purchased a Kodak film scanner and copied my slides using my phone. I found that using the phone camera was better then using the Kodak app because it allowed you to make adjustments. For example if the slide was too dark I could boost the ISO or change the shutter speed to get an acceptable image. I was able to copy quite a few slides in a short time using this method.
