I post the ones I think people will like on Flickr or UHH. Mostly my pictures are for me.

Shutterfly is free and easy to use. You simply give the URL to anyone interested. Here's an example:

I use Google photos and send invites to specific albums to the folks that I want to see them. Also I work in a Rehab Hospital (Medical, not substance abuse) and we have a 55" flat screen hooked up to a Blue Ray player in our gym. I put a thumb drive in the Blue Ray and I have a captive audience that changes every 10 days to two weeks, a Photographers dream...

It depends on how many you want to share and how large they are.
They don't have to be huge files to be viewed on a computer/tablet/phone.
You can use OneDrive or Drop Box, sending people a link to see them.

I personally use my website, Facebook, and on occasion, OneDrive.

There are a bunch of recommendations for flickr. While flickr is a fine photo sharing site, the OP mentioned powerpoint files with music and I don't believe flickr will handle that.

Again, Smugmug and things like that are oriented toward photos. I don't use Smugmug so I can't say what it would do with a powerpoint file.

Dropbox handles general files. You can place the files in a folder and share the folder with whomever you wish.

It's a good point, DF. However, didn't the OP also ask how we share files?

I apologize if this has been asked before, but ...

I have various collections of photos. I would like to invite friends to look at them. Some are PowerPoints with music. I do not want to sell them. What is the best way to do this.

Facebook. Post and all your "friends" can see them. No selection of persons necessary. Or you can send to individuals using "Messenger." This is not an endorsement of Facebook; just reality.

Don’t overlook Lightroom - create a Slideshow, then export as pdf. You can send a considerable number of photos in a condensed form. Easy to email the pdf file.

You get a free YouTube channel with a free Gmail account. You can create your videos there or drop them in. Very easy to share the link from there.
