Why not just hook up your android phone to your computer. and then hook up your Iphone to your computer.
Use windows explorer to copy files from one phone to another.

Depending on which android, you can touch the phones together to transfer data. Check youtube.

I have tried to find out how to get photos transmitted from my wife’s Android phone into my iPhone?

The only hidden method found is for her to attach photo files to an email to me. That is impractical due to e-mail rules of allowing less that two attached files or the attempt will not be capable to send!?

An suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!! 😁

Create a Dropbox system on your phones.

Doing so you can easily copy the images from the Android phone to the computer but you can't copy images from the computer to the IPhone. Apple doesn't allow you to transfer to the IPhone via cable. That's the problem. You have to do the transfer via the internet. Email as the OP has found out or use a cloud service.

Try the transfer app in the app store for apple and for the android in the app store for android. Here is how it works: http://phototransferapp.com/help/android/transfer_photos_from_idevice_to_android/
It works great, and as Paul says Dropbox also works as well.

I am going to try this one myself! Looks like a great solution.

Connect her phone to your PC and look for the files that her photos are copied to, copy to local or network drive.

As I posted earlier the problem is transferring files from any devices a phone or a computer to the IPhone and not transferring files out of the Android phone.

Use www.wetransfer.com. The free version lets you upload up to 2GB each time. It sends a link to the other party for downloading the files. There’s no loss of quality. I’ve used it many times to send dozens and even hundreds of photos and also to send videos.

Email is the obvious method.

I've emailed Android to Android, so an iPhone should be able to receive photos in an email.

Can you photo share both phones with same computer? Or transfer to a computer then to the next phone?
In other words - use the pc or iMac as a conduit.

Can an Android phone access iCloud? If so, that would be the easiest way to go from her phone to iCloud to your phone. You’d need a minimum iCloud account which is only $0.99 per month and you could move photos both ways
