It's always convenient for the Left to quote the Constitution, if it pleases the narrative.

JFK and LBJ sent troops to Viet Nam, and got us involved in a war killing 58K+ Americans. Odd, there was no declaration of war as required by the Constitution.

HST sent American soldiers to Korea, despite no declaration of war by Congress. About 50K Americans died there.

FDR took American property, and locked up Nisei in concentration camps with no evidence of any sabotage, etc. You can also thank that great protector of civil liberties, California governor Earl Warren for suggesting it to FDR. FDR also used the IRS and FBI to spy on Americans belonging to America First, a group which didn't want us in another European War.

Now the Progressives want to trot out Alexander Hamilton during this impeachment fraud. Guess what? Did you know that Hamilton actually passed along confidential conversations by President Washington and Thomas Jefferson concerning the British and French hostilities in the 1790's? So much for his loyalty to the USA.

All Presidents exert Executive Power, and the judicial branch is the final arbiter. Don't forget Obama and his "pen and phone", or Clinton getting us into the Baltic mess without a declaration of war.
