Salt River's Wild Horses . . . again

I'm taking advantage of the brief time we'll be in Arizona to spend as much time at the Salt River, taking pictures of the wild horses. Here a few of my favorites from my last trip.
The final picture was taken just before dark. Obviously my shutter speed should have been much higher but I actually kind of like the blurred effect of the two running horses. I'd particularly like your reaction to it.

Love these, Sally. Especially the lighting in the fourth one. Ambivalent about the last one. The horses themselves don’t look like they are running fast enough to generate that amount of blur.

Thank you and I agree with your comment on the last photo. The blur is no doubt primarily due to inadequate shutter speed.

Nice shots. We have an old mare that has been with us nearly 20 years that is reaching the end. Will be a sad day. When we have a nice day I need to take a final set of photos of her. She has been such a joy. One of the prettiest horses we have had the pleasure to be around. What a friend she has been. Will be much missed.

I have been there and found them a couple of times in the river but your shots show them out of the water. Where along the river do you typically find them. I know they roam all over but just curious where you found them.

Very nice set, the forth one is excellent, but it's the last one that I really like.

I found the last image was a great one because of the blur which indicated fast moving horses. It is a keeper for sure. Thanks for sharing.

I understand stand how you must feel. The more you’re around these animals the more you appreciate their personalities.
