You got some great shots! I live only an hour or so from there; last time I went it was the first cold and windy day of November—it was miserable and the wind was blowing like it meant it. We saw maybe three birds, no gators and nothing significant...maybe one or two great white egrets and a few ibises... I must return!

Thanks! No. They were right next to the road. Maybe 6 feet from me. I didn't even need to get out of my car. I'm sure momma was close by.
