Hi Folks, had the privilege of photographing this beautiful aircraft today and thought I'd share a few snap shots. Haven't had much of anything to post lately, so I sure hope you enjoy these. Also, hope everyone has a good Memorial Day holiday and thanks for stopping by.
Shot with a Sony RX10M4, jpgs at 16:9 widescreen, processed with Photoshop Elements 10.

That had to have been exciting. They offered rides for $450 which was a bit to much for me.

Very good detailed pictures. Your pictures show that plane has really been given some TLC.

The Commemorative Air Force is going to have the "Texas Raiders" B-17
visit for three days here in Olathe, KS on May 31st + June 1st & 2nd (at the New Century Air Center). It was built in 1945 at the end of July in Long Beach, California. There were over 12,000 built and now there are fewer than a dozen still flying. The information I have indicates you can go for a B-17 ride for $475.00. This time I think I will stay on the ground and watch it take off and land since I already took a ride in one several years back.

Another outstanding documentation my friend. All the shots are perfect but the cockpit photo is absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing, take care and be well.

James, an awesome set of photos of one of my favorite planes from WWII. It is my favorite bomber only surpassed by the Corsair F4U.
