I asked him and he said "E-Z" or "Easy" or "EZ" something... but I forgot by the time I got home.

Just curious.

Thank you.

Could it be no-name? Something he invented himself?

Wow - at that price, I hope it comes with a sherpa who will fetch me a beer while I am shooting!

I have thought about one of those things for places where you cant use a tripod or for big lenses. Probably not as stable as a tripod but more stable than hand-holding. Did not think it would be $1300.

I think it would suck as a DSLR support. I'm pretty sure it was invented and designed for heavier video cameras. Solutions for video have become lighter cameras and electronic gimbals.

What an ungainly contraption. Nothing like being able to keep a low profile while doing street work.

Easyrig. Usually used for video. Absolutely great in the field.
