Question..

I have a friend that has a Koday Easy Share Point and shoot. I can't help him so i'll ask here. When you point the camera to any brightly lighted area the LCD Screen turns completely pink. It doesn't even need to be in direct light just a bright area. I tried a bunch of settings and nothing changes it. It will still try to take an image but unless the flash overcomes the background light it will be blown out completely. Thanks in advance... J

Sounds like it's time to start shopping for a new camera.

Try to reset the camera to factory default settings.

That's my WAG.

Good luck
