If you have a Nikon DSLR, they have several (Wu-1a and Wu-1b) come to mind. I have the Wu-1a and it worked well when I used it.
No , it’s a Canon. But thank you.
I think I’ll use an SD reader that plugs into an iPhone. WiFi connections for non-WiFi cameras are too variable in functionality.
I thank you for your response.

I’ll have a look. Thank you.
I have wondered about Machia's question also. I have a Canon 60D which at the time I got it from B& H, thought, I'd save a little money w/o need for WiFi. But as far as I know now, even if there was a WiFi card available - that would work - camera's like mine only have one slot for a card. So am I right to think that there would be no medium so record the images in the first place, in such a situation?

I have thousands wrapped up in traditional SLR’s, and since I no longer do this professionally I picked up a Canon T5i as a novelty. But even though it is a beginners camera I find it to be a very capable instrument. WiFi capability would be nice.
The sd card with wifi will store and transmit but they are no longer available for my DSLR. Canon may have one for yours. They do make one.
I’m going to pick up a card reader that plugs into my iPhone and that way I can transfer images via cable and then send them out through email or text.
My old equipment was all Minolta with Rokkor lenses. I miss the Kodachrome film but this new digital is a lot of fun.
Have a Leica too but that became cost prohibitive. And when I found out Minolta was building some lenses for Leica with there Minolta-Rokkor glass, I switched over to Minolta exclusively !
Thanks for the response.

For those of who who are not familiar with the product, the Canon W-E1 is an SD Wi_Fi card for the Canon 7D MK II, 5DS and 5DS R ONLY. It’s $40 at B&H and allows camera control. It gets mixed reviews in terms of speed and apparently takes over control of the camera, so you have to remove it to use the USB cable.
I’ve tried all of these options, and in the end, bought a CamRanger, which is the best answer by far (and it provides intervelometer functionality). The version 1 supports only Canon and Nikon, while the version 2 ($200) supports Canon, Nikon, Sony and Fuji. If anyone is interested, I may have a version 1 with an extra battery for sale for $125. I want to test it for speed against my 5D4’s built-in WI-FI before deciding to part with it.
Junk! Get a WiFi adapter.

That would be my recommendation. For about $13 you can get a lightning connector SD card dongle and the transfer is much faster than WiFi. You can also download LR for iPhone. It’s free with some functionality and if you’re an Adobe subscriber you get full functionality. I also have a USB-C dongle for my iPad Pro.

$13.00?
Here in NJ, it’s going for 29.99.
Best price I can find.

Don’t buy the Apple one. Amazon has them as low as $8.29.
