Here in America most of us have experienced the loss of power when a car collides with a power poll and we loose power in a neighborhood for an hour or two. Can you imagine how long it would take to get something like that back together!

Here in Bangkok it is a similar mess, although not as as bad. Amazingly, we have fewer power outages than we had Maryland...and they restore power in minutes to a couple of hours instead of a day or two. Amazing, but true!
