Congratulations to your grandson and to your family for raising such a fine young man. I still remember my mother coming to Parris Island in 1964 to see my twin brother and I graduate from platoon 207. Becoming Marines was and still is the proudest and smartest thing my brother and I have ever done. Serving as combat Marines in Vietnam was just icing on the cake.
