I have held off posting shots from the Arches portion of the Mighty Five trip because Cany 143 is the definitive source for photos of that area. I do, however, post these to show potential visitors the world of photo ops that await you from a tour van with little (except for Delicate Arch) hiking involved. As to Delicate Arch, unlike its name, the hike to the arch (as opposed to the viewpoint of the arch) is labeled by the Park Service as strenuous and this 80 year old agrees with them. The shots are posted in the order that they occurred as we spent the day going into the park, circling through and coming out. I am sorry that I do not remember all the names of the formations, etc.

Your images reflect the beauty of Arches. Balanced rock is always my favorite.
Beautiful pics! We've been there twice now, last time just a drivethrough. Easy to fill up a card!

Thanks for those kind words. So many great shots, so little time.

Thanks for your encouraging words. I swear the next time we are going on our own and will allow more time.
Nice, Mike. Yeah, I think it would be a lot more fun on your own.
