Who do I vote FOR?

Ad after ad, the politicians are all telling me who not to vote FOR. Can you imagine ads for Chevy telling me not to buy a Ford?!
Why don't the DAMN politicians say why I SHOULD Vote FOR them instead of who not to vote FOR?
I think I want to vote for Pat Paulsen and Snoopy. I know, those were presidential candidates years ago and one is fictional while the other is deceased (I leave you to figure out which is which). To me, all of the candidates are fictional AND deceased (to me). So, why not Snoopy and Pat Paulsen? They didn't win the presidential election, so, maybe they will take a governorship in the meantime.
Wake up you politicians, why should I vote FOR you?

If you rely on misleading political advertisements to determine which candidate deserves your vote, you are an irresponsible voter. With the right to vote, comes the responsibility to research the candidate, their beliefs, their political positions on a myriad of issues. That is your responsibility as a voter. You are an adult, vote like one.
If one fails in that responsibility, one's vote is meaningless.

I could hardly believe that in America it’s almost always the case(nationally) The most money wins. Does the media give big discounts to their favored candidate? The media should not bring to the table their “menu” of favored folks.

Correct. But, I am speaking just of the ads that they pay for to direct my vote. Chevy tells me to buy Chevy and Ford tells me to buy Ford and the reason that I should. Why not make the point of why I should vote FOR you instead of against the other guy/woman/person. By not mentioning what they stand FOR, it is a very negative ad.

Can you imagine if we were to construct a resume they way they structure political ads? They won't clean up their act unless we demand it

Just a suggestion but maybe if you're still trying to decide, you should read some newspapers. At least you know who is publishing them.

Under normal circumstances I say look at the candidate and vote you values. However these aren’t normal times. If you want someone like Paul Ryan to be in charge of the house then vote republican. If you want to keep Mitch McConnel in power in the senate then vote republican. Just remember McConnel already announced that with the trillion dollar deficit (caused by tax break for the rich and corporations) he wants to cut social security,Medicare and Medicade. The republicans have voted to repeal 60-70 times Obamacare which includes healthcare for those with pre-existing conditions. I can’t give more power to the republicans so I will vote democratic.

Boy are your dreaming and don't I wish. I can't wait until the election is over...No more phone calls or TV adds.
