So Far the Pukes are talking out of both sides of their mouth!
They say they want a fair and impartial hearing but it seems that can only be achieved by RUSHING the vote.
I can’t see how or why it matters. Don’t the Pukes want a SCOTUS with a clear title and without an asterisk after the name?
So why the deadlines. If somebody said they need an extra week because they have gotten death threats, had to file FBI reports and had to relocate, you’d think Kav himself would say, “take your time, I’m ready when you are, I understand”!!!
Why is Kav Himself so mum?
It just makes the Pukes look like heartless heels.
Is it because he has to be installed at the beginning of the SCOTUS year? He doesn’t!!
This is the kind of shit that will loose the Pukes the midterm.
The loyal base can’t win it for them, they need the swing vote!!! That’s what they’re losing with the RUSH, and the confirmation!!!

Because Feinstein waited two months to tell the FBI about Ford. If she had submitted the letter when she got it in July, Ford would have had all the time to get wherever she wanted to be to testify, and the Committee would have time to consider her allegations and Kavenaugh would have had time to respond. Feinstein waited because she wants the vote to be held after October 1, when the Supreme Court's term begins this year. If he is not confirmed by October 1, he will not sit on the bench and hear cases until this term is over some time next year, giving the Dems a lot of time to get rid of Kavanaugh (impeachment??) It's the most obvious attempt at sabotage, and Democrats in general should be ashamed of this behavior by a Senator of their party. Feinstein should be investigated as to why she waited until just a few days before the vote to reveal Ford's letter. There WOULD have been a fair and impartial hearing if she had not waited for two months.

Even Ford didn't call him a rapist...she said he allegedly groped her over her clothing. She said her attacker was so drunk she was afraid he might inadvertently kill her because he was so drunk. Not rape her. Hmm..do you think she was stone cold sober? She can't remember many things, like she doesn't know what house the party was at, how she got there, how she got upstairs into a bedroom and how she got home. I would LOVE to hear her testimony. So would the Committee and so would Kavanaugh. She makes these allegations to a Senator who passes them on to the FBI. The FBI says they can't investigate because it's not their jurisdiction and it's not what they do. They investigate federal cases...this is a state case. Ford did not file a complaint with the local police at the time. She still hasn't filed a complaint, which she can, since the statute of limitations on sexual assault never runs out in Maryland.

What don't you get about this? It's a blatent attempt to sabotage Kavanaugh's confirmation. And the Senate Committee should recognize this for what it is: sabotage, and potentially obstruction of justice.

How can the FBI or any agency investigate a 36 year old case where the accuser doesn't know the address where it happened; doesn't remember how she got there/got home and has no evidence and no witnesses and no complaint? How is that due process??

She has been coached to make it look like it is just shy of rape, but not actually accusing him of rape...that would be charging him with a crime, and that would mean a court hearing with testimony under oath. Something her lawyers don't want.

I'm sure Sharpshooter you will call this BS the way you analyze things. But I would be interested in why...point by point.

Has anyone else noticed Kavanaugh has spent nearly the entire week at the WH prepping with senior aides and WH counsel? Of course Kavanaugh will be impartial when it is time to rule as a justice on SCOTUS when he has to rule on WH issues.

As for those who believe Finestein held it for months; she did! She held it in confidence as Ford requested her name not be revealed. Someone leaked it to the press which had been outside her home before Ford revealed herself. Ford got outed at the last minute.

It doesn’t matter; Republicans have already decided. What is happening is terrible and I’m sure Ford regrets ever having revealed her lasting pain.
