I've never used the Lightroom Book module...anyone have experience with this? I've always used Adoramapix for my photo books and LOVE the quality...just wondering about the quality of Blurb books, is it comparable? Sure would save a few steps if I could do directly from Lightroom.... Thanks in advance for any experience with Blurb you can share with me.

If you have LR classic they just added some more features such as lay flat. There are videos that do compare some of them and it comes out quite well. With the lay flat and some other enhancements I plan to do a book or two in the near future. There are also specific LR/Blurb videos to take the guesswork out. it is sweet doing it from LR. Create a collection first and the rest is deciding the order in the book.

A really good video is Tim Grey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ho4aZbdu3I&t=5532s

Thanks! I am not too worried about figuring out how to do it, more wondering about the quality of the Blurb books from those who have purchased one. But will definitely look up that video!

I have made several books with Blurb (using Photoshop Elements, not LightRoom), and I have been very pleased with the books. So have the people I gave them to.
Among others, a wedding book and a birthday book, photos and text.

I've seen some Blurb books through LR that look really good. Blurb has MANY different books and styles, not just one.
From very economical to VERY expensive.

Try it. Only you can be the judge. The people here are burdened with their prejudices.

I’ve done two books using Blurb. The end result in both cases was excellent. The last one I did was 2 years ago. It’s not without issues although I think since then they have made a lot of improvements as has LR. I struggled with the text piece and getting the type large enough to be able to thoroughly proofread. Because I was giving the books as gifts, I went through three prints before they were perfect. I found Scott Kelby’s book on LR invaluable.

I've had several books done by Blurb, and all of them were very well done. The colours were spot on, the print was precise, and the pictures were really sharp. I was pleased, and so were my buyers. I liked them better than Shutterfly. I've not used Adorama, so I cannot compare them with my Blurb experience.

I've done a couple books using LR and Blurb. And, I was very pleased with both quality and color. Delivery was speedy, too. I will use them again soon, as I am working on the next book now. Prices might be a bit on the high-side, but the ease-of-use within LR makes it an easy choice.
