Oh, you definitely are. I think the only thing others may be suggesting (or at least I am), is that the scene itself presents a lot of middle Grey are with relatively few highlights and deep shadows.
I love the arrangement and image. If it were mine, I might try to selectively boost some high values and lower some darker greys to black.
That’s what you probably “saw” when you hit the shutter button. Ansel Adams would have loved today’s digital darkroom.
